Meet the Reno Team
Kenny Newberry – Store Manager
A Nevada native, he was born and raised in Carson City. Kenny started as a mechanic in Carson City at his father’s shop in 1999. He enjoys leading his team and being there for the customers.
His biggest accomplishment was serving in the United States Army for 12 years, where he says he “enjoyed every bit of it”.
Racing is his passion and where you can find him in his free time. He also enjoys working in the garage/shop building his next toy and spending time with his wife and three children.
Kenny is all about customer service and building a network of trust with all of my customers and suppliers.
Lance Nelson – ASE Service Advisor
Lance was born in South Dakota and grew up in East Grand Forks MN. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in Sales and Marketing with an associate Business Administration degree. With a move to Washington State, Lance began working in vehicle sales where he became friends with the service manager and slowly drifted into the service side of the dealership. His biggest accomplishments are creating a healthy and happy family life as well as a career. He is also proud of his trusting relationships with customers throughout the years. On the weekends you will find Lance gardening and projects around the home, racing events, and exploring Nevada.
Lance enjoys working for a company that gives “you every tool to meet and succeed customers experience and expectations.”
Tim McClintock – ASE Service Advisor
Tim was born in Gilroy, California, and has been working in the automotive industry since 2009. He started at a Ford Dealership after the economic crash in 2003. Tim, growing up around the industry, knew how essential and vital automotive repair is.
Tims biggest accomplishments are watching his son graduate college and becoming a professional MX racer at age 17.
On the weekends, you will find him riding bikes, hiking, and exploring Lake Tahoe.
Chris Fisher – A1, A3, A4, A5, A8 Certified Technician
Chris was raised here in Nevada since he was 8, coming from Reno, Washoe Valley, and Sparks. For the past 14 years he’s been working on cars, and we have been lucky to have him for the past 3 years. He is certified in Engine Repair, Manual Drive Train and Axles, Suspension and Steering, Brakes, and Engine Performance.
Brandon Vaillancourt- Certified Technician
Brandon is a Reno native and studied at TMCC automotive program right after high school. His entire life, he has always loved cars. He found joy repairing and servicing vehicles which lead him to where he is today. From becoming a father to going to college for something he enjoys, he lists these as his biggest accomplishments. Spending time with his family, attempting to sleep in, and going to Tahoe to see his wife’s family is where you will find Brandon on the weekends.
Lyle Anderson – Diesel Technician
Lyle has accumulated a lot of experience in 23 years of working on cars. He has an Associate’s Degree in Auto/Diesel/Performance, a 2G Emissions Repair certification, and numerous factory and aftermarket training classes under his belt. He has been doing outstanding work for us for the past 3 years.
Mike Hayworth – Technician
Mike is from Reno, Nevada, and started his career in 2002. He has always had the motivation to work on things and fix what is needed, which directed him to the automotive repair industry. Mikes biggest accomplishment is his children and, on the weekends, you will find him spending time with his kids, riding motorcycles, and camping.
Micheal Sanders – Master Auto and Truck Technician, Audi Certified
Mike is from Santa Ana, California, and started his career in 1978. He said the job “pretty much fell on me,” and Mike liked the work. One of his biggest accomplishments is being a family man and balancing home life and his job. On the weekends, you will find Mike exploring, prospecting ( gold panning once in a while ), and playing with his dogs.
